On the occasion of composer Philip Glass’s 90th birthday, Let the Poets Speak celebrates Glass’s extraordinary relationships and collaborations with poets.

Featuring performances by longtime Glass interpreter pianist Timo Andres, theater artist Taylor Mac, and members of the San Francisco Girls Chorus, this evening celebrates not only these seminal American cultural icons, but the spirit of collaboration across generations.

Featuring the radiant voices of the San Francisco Girls Chorus under Valérie Sainte Agathe, alongside internationally celebrated artists Mahsa Vahdat (Iranian singer), Diana Gameros (Mexican singer/songwriter) and Clarissa Bitar (Palestinian-American oud virtuoso).

A Mother’s Day Concert — brings Noe Music’s season to a powerful and heart-forward close with an afternoon of collective expression, solidarity, and celebration. In a time when power is being wielded as a divisive force, this gathering affirms the power of music to unite and uplift. What better way to honor the mothers who create life than through an event that celebrates our shared humanity through song.

Join us for the Annual Gala! This festive evening at the historic San Francisco War Memorial Building will include SFGC Alum Michele Kennedy and our very own Premier Ensemble and Concert Group performing in the Herbst Theatre followed by a gala reception in the Green Room.

There will be a short live auction with one-of-a-kind experiences and Fund-A-Need to ensure that every young singer is able to access SFGC’s transformative music education programs.

Afternoon of Ideas returns with a family-friendly experience designed to welcome youth into the spirit of the event. Through hands-on workshops, playful performances, and creative activities led by artists, educators, and children’s book authors, the daytime program invites curiosity, play, and intergenerational exchange.

2026 French American Cultural Days (FACD) returns to the Lycée Français of San Francisco for a day of celebrating the work of Francophone art and creators, hosted by the organization Culture Without Border. 

FACD is an all-day event, dedicated to connecting the community with French influenced artists through performances, and showcases a range of arts including dance, fashion, music, photography, painting, tech, poetry and graphic artists. Everyone of all ages and nationalities is welcome to attend.

Carmen at the San Francisco Opera

Members of SFGC’s Concert Group joins the cast of SF Opera’s Carmen as part of the children’s choir. Jealousy and obsession lead to fatal consequences in Francesca Zambello’s production in which matadors bump shoulders with factory workers in the heat of Seville. 
Bizet’s evocative score features some of the most recognizable music in opera, brought to life by conductor Benjamin Manis.
