About Prep Chorus
In SFGC’s Prep Chorus, singers are introduced to unison choral music and beginning vocal technique through a variety of songs, genres, and musical games. Through weekly 45-minute classes, students build foundational skills in reading from a choral octavo while strengthening their listening and memory skills.
At the end of the school year, students participate in a final performance as an opportunity to share what they learned and practice their stage presence!
After completing Prep Chorus, students ages 6 and older are eligible to advance to SFGC’s Training Chorus for singers ages 6-8.
