The San Francisco Girls Chorus opens its 40th anniversary season with an American choral showcase that salutes the unique influence of French composer Nadia Boulanger on some of the most important composers in American history. Internationally renowned lyric tenor Nicholas Phan makes his SFGC debut in a program that features works by Aaron Copland, Leonard Bernstein, Samuel Barber, David Conte, Louise Talma, Nadia and Lili Boulanger.
