Hailing from San Francisco, CA, Isabel Yang is a classical vocalist and music educator who graduated with honors from Northwestern University (2026). She majored in Voice & Opera and earned a minor in Arts Administration. Notable operatic roles include Nancy/Albert Herring with Northwestern Opera Theater (2024), and Le Prince/Cendrillon at Miami Music Festival (2026). Passionate about new music, she has premiered roles in two contemporary operas written by Northwestern alumni.
Isabel grew up singing in SFGC. She graduated from the chorus school in 2017 and spent 5 years in Premier Ensemble. She studied with Justin Montigne in the Soloist Intensive program. She also served as an aide for Training Chorus in 2021-2022.
