Monica Frame, LCSW, has been working with children and families in the Bay Area for many years, in agencies, private practice, schools, and aftercare programs. She is the counselor at the Crowden School in Berkeley, where she has come to believe passionately in the power of music to help children develop such essential qualities as strong, empathic social skills, a good work ethic, and a healthy sense of self. She is eager and delighted to bring this passion to the SF Girls Chorus team.

An avid chorister herself, Monica sings with the new music ensemble Volti and the ancient music ensemble Endersnight, and is a section leader for the St Mary Magdalene schola in Berkeley, all of which keeps her in regular touch with the wonderful challenges and joys of choral singing.
