Pianist Margaret Halbig earned a Doctorate of Musical Arts from UC Santa Barbara in 2011. In addition to working as an accompanist at the San Francisco Girls Chorus, she is a vocal coach and staff accompanist at the San Francisco Conservatory. She performs regularly with Wild Rumpus, a new music collective that fosters collaboration with emerging composers. Margaret also holds performance degrees from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory and University of Evansville in Indiana.
