Tuition covers almost one fourth of the cost of keeping the Chorus School in operation. Other sources of income are individual donations; performance fees; ticket sales; foundation, corporate, and government grants; and fundraising events.
Full academic year (September through June) $1,660.
Second and third child $1000/each.
Summer Music Camp (camp tuition, room & board, transportation and other incidental costs) $750.
Tuition may be paid in installments. Incidental fees for the academic year, such as wardrobe rental, are not included above.
SCHOLARSHIP ASSISTANCE
Scholarships are available for tuition costs and may be awarded after a chorister has been a member of the Girls Chorus for two months. Parents or guardians are responsible for the full fees until such time as their request for financial assistance has been approved by the Board of Directors' Scholarship Committee. The committee awarded $115,000 in full or partial scholarships last season to 32 percent of the 325 singers.
