Fund Types

Annual Fund
Donations to the Annual Fund will allow the San Francisco Girls Chorus to continue presenting outstanding performances and providing world-class music instruction to young women and girls from all backgrounds.

Scholarship Fund
Since its founding, SFGC has provided generous need-based scholarships to make its music performance and education program accessible to all. We ensure that no chorister is prohibited from participation in any aspect of SFGC programs due to financial limitations. Over 30% of choristers rely on scholarships in order to be able to participate in the San Francisco Girls Chorus. Contributions to the Scholarship Fund help SFGC to maintain and expand its scholarship award program.

Tour Fund
SFGC has a rich history of touring nationally and internationally, performing premiere works from commissioned artists and composers in renowned musical venues around the world. Contributions to the Tour Fund help make performance tours possible for SFGC choristers.

Outreach Fund
SFGC offers a free in-school outreach program, Creating Choral Music, to public schools in the Bay Area; and a program of free family performances in community venues, reaching over 2,000 underserved audience members per year. Contributions to the Outreach Fund help SFGC to build sustainable relationships with public schools in the Bay Area and to continue its service to the community.
