The three-time Grammy Award-winning San Francisco Girls Chorus opens its 2007-2008, 29th anniversary home season by celebrating 900 years of English choral music in a program entitled “Music Fit for a Queen.” Pre-Concert talk starts at 7:15 with Peter Susskind.

October 07 | Chorissima Ensemble and Level IV perform with Luciana Souza at the Herbst Theater

October 20, 2007 -  Presented by San Francisco Performances, the Girls Chorus joined Luciana Souza, singing specially-arranged songs of Luciana's Brazilian childhood.

October 07 | Level IV rehearses with Rollo Dilworth

Rollo Dilworth, assistant professor of music, director of the bachelor of music education program, and director of the choral program at North Park University, Chicago, IL, visited Kanbar Performing Arts Center to work with Level IV on the songs he had arranged.

San Francisco Girls Chorus’ 29th Season!

Our concert season begins with "Music Fit for a Queen", a program of great choral repertoire from the British Isles. Our Annual Sing-Along at Davies Hall marks the 25th anniversary of this Holiday tradition. Celebrate with us as 300 choristers sing carols of the season accompanied by brass and organ. Our final season concert will include special guest artists from ODC Dance Company, performing a new work co-created by SFGC and ODC titled "Catch and Release". Click here for more information.
