The life and writings of Anne Frank have moved and inspired generations around the world. Hers was a voice of courage, grace, compassion and hope that calls out across the years and remains relevant today. The San Francisco Girls Chorus commissioned composer Linda Tutas Haugen to write her multi-movement work Anne Frank: A Living Voice in 2004 for our 25th anniversary season. The work, set for treble voices and string quartet, encourages the world to embrace tolerance and peace.
