Fellowship Application

Application Due: May 1, 2011

Camp dates: July 28 - August 5, 2011

Counselor retreat: July 23 and 24, 2011

Camp staff meeting: Monday, July 25, 2011

Report to camp: Wednesday, July 27, 2011

A limited numbers of fellowships for summer study are available to Laureates who wish to explore the art of conducting or teaching music theory.

Theory Fellows work closely with the theory instructors at Camp. Work includes daily contact with classes and individual choristers. Lesson plans, organization, and teaching concepts are part of this fellowship study.

Conducting Fellows attend daily classes and are given a workbook specifically for this class, are assigned a piece that will be taught and performed at camp. Conducting class this year: July 20, 21, 23-25, 26, 1-3pm at 44 Page Street.

Fellows are given free room and board, free instruction, and instructional materials. If Fellows also work as counselors, they receive a small stipend.
