SFGC’s four home season concerts feature a world premiere by Tania León, the New Esterházy and Cypress String Quartets, Sonos Handbell Ensemble and More!

• Our season opens in late October with 2 concerts entitled The Power of Place, a program that features the SFGC premiere of Valjo Tormis’ Spring Sketches, and works by Brahms, Eric Whitacre, Hildegard Von Bingen and others, with guest ensemble The New Esterházy Quartet.
• SFGC’s annual Holiday Sing-Along concerts take place, once again, at Lafayette-Orinda Presbyterian Church and Davies Symphony Hall. The 300 voices of San Francisco Girls Chorus and the Chorus School perform with organ, brass quintet and percussion at Davies Hall. Come and celebrate Tidings of Great Joy with us!
• Gala at the Herbst Theatre -- Music from Mexico, Cuba and South America sets the stage for the San Francisco Girls Chorus’ 2011 Latin American tour in a glittering gala benefit concert and evening.
• SFGC closes its season with the world premiere performance of a work by Tania León, plus the Cypress String Quartet returns to reprise Chen Yi’s multi-media work Angel Island Passages, created in collaboration with filmmaker Felicia Lowe. The concert also features the Sonos Handbell Ensemble and much more!
