Originally from Southern California, Alison has been an active member of the Bay Area arts community for the past ten years. A graduate of UC Berkeley with Honors, Alison studied photography and visual culture, with a specialty in research and theory surrounding family photo albums.

Prior to joining SFGC as Director of Development in May 2018, she served as Major Gifts Officer at the UC Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive where she played an essential role in the transition to BAMPFA’s new building and ambitious capital campaign. She has also spent time at local arts nonprofits including SF Camerawork and PhotoAlliance, and has a background in curatorial projects.

A cultural omnivore, Alison enjoys creative expression in all forms including art, dance, podcasts, film, fashion, and most importantly, music. She is thrilled to champion SFGC and delights in hearing the stories of donors, alumnae, parents, and friends of the Chorus.
